Day One

Door to door pick-up before travelling north to Kendal for lunch, then through the lakes to your hotel in Gilsland for dinner.

Day Two

Your excursion today takes you east following Hadrian's Wall to the historical market town of Hexham, it has won Britain in Bloom and England's favourite market town, dominating the town is the 13th Century Hexham Abbey.

Day Three

A morning visit to the historic border city of Carlisle then onto Keswick, nestled on the shores of Derwent Water with its wide array of shops and galleries.

Day Four

Today we cross into Scotland and the attractive town of Moffat a 19th century spa with a 'double' high street with lots of specialist shops, we continue to Dumfries known like its football club as 'Queen of the South' an ancient town with a long and turbulent history on the banks of the River Nith. Dumfries was founded as a Royal Borough in 1186.

After breakfast we bid farewell to Gilsland for begin our journey home.
