HIGHLIGHTS

Llandrindod Wells   |   Hay-On-Wye   |   Brecon Beacons   |   Llandovery   |   LLanwrtyd Wells

DAY ONE:

After being picked up at your front door, you will be transported to your coach to begin a scenic drive through Wales to your hotel, comfort stops enroute, arriving at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

DAY TWO:

After a leisurely breakfast we depart our hotel for the Brecon Beacons, home of waterfalls, forests & market towns, this National Park is a sight to behold.  Tuesday is market day in Brecon, the atmosphere is quaint and friendly with bargains to be had, narrow streets house country craft and antique shops, later we head onto Llandovery to walk its lovely cobbled square before going to the tiny town of Llanwrtyd Wells.

DAY THREE:

Our excursion today takes us through the Golden Valley to the pretty town of Hay-on-Wye within the Brecon Beacons National Park, known as ‘the town of books’.  This vibrant and lively town has a plethora of restaurants and bars, wander around the small independent shops, browse the book stores or take a stroll along the bank of the River Wye.

DAY FOUR:

This morning we make our way to Leominster, where charming buildings and old-English beauty greet you at every turn. Framed for its half-timbered medieval and Tudor buildings, a walk around Leominster can feel like stepping back in time.  Full of talented artisans and local businesses, wander the ancient Priory, browse for antiques or tuck in at a traditional tea room.

DAY FIVE:

This morning we bid farewell and depart our hotel and begin our journey home travelling via Newtown and Welshpool calling in Shrewsbury before arriving local area late afternoon.
