A stunning trip with stunning autumnal beauty on our Scottish Autumn Gold trip – 5 days

 

Scotland in the autumn is a truly breath-taking experience. As we travel through the glorious countryside, you’ll experience the vibrant autumn colours that transform the mountains and valley landscapes into a place of stunning autumnal beauty.

 

Our trip will take us on an excursion to the Enchanted Forest and Show, Scotland’s best sound and light show that takes place outdoors at Faskally Wood near Pitlochry. We’ll visit the Famous Grouse whisky distillery where you can enjoy a tour, and tantalise your taste buds with a taste of Scotland’s favourite whisky. We’ll also enjoy a trip to the magnificent 14th century Glamis Castle, one of the finest castles in Scotland.

Day 1

We depart North Wales in the morning and make our way to the stunning country of Scotland where we'll make our way to the cosy Royal Dunkeld Hotel
where we'll enjoy a tasty evening dinner.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast we enjoy an excursion to the Famous Grouse Whiskey Distillery which is Scotland's oldest and most visited distillery. We later head back to the hotel to enjoy an evening dinner.

Day 3

Today we enjoy a day exploring the medieval Glamis Castle and gardens which was the childhood home of the Queen Mother. After an unforgettable trip to Glamis Castle and its wonderful gardens we visit the Enchanted Forest.

Day 4

After tucking into a delicious breakfast we enjoy excursions to Dundee, St Andrews and Perth where we can marvel at the areas stunning scenery, visit the many attractions or stop of for a bite to eat in the areas many eateries. After a day full of exploring we make our way back to the hotel.

Day 5

On the final day we bid farewell to Scotland as we make our way back to North Wales after breakfast arriving early evening.
