Day One

Depart from your home pick-up and join your tour coach for the journey to Scotland, with refreshment stops enroute, arrive at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

Day Two

Be inspired by the inspirational poems of Sir Walter Scott as you cruise the beautiful waters of Loch Katrine on one of the world's oldest steamships. Listen to the tales and legends of the area narrated by a crew member, through Rob Roy McGregor country to Callander, finishing the day with time in historical Stirling.

Day Three

Our excursion today is firstly to one of Scotland's top attractions - the Falkirk Wheel, board a boat and be hoisted 35 metres high on the world's only rotating boatlift. We then continue to Edinburgh and a glorious cruise taking you under the two famous bridges and past the brand new one being built, out into the Firth and towards Inchcolm Island to view various wildlife including seals, dolphins and puffins.

Day Four

A spectacular Highland day awaits, firstly to Loch Lomond following the shoreline with a stop off in the ancient town of Inveraray on the banks of Loch Fyne. A town steeped in maritime history, explore its jail and famous Castle before returning along the side of Loch Long bringing the Firth of Clyde into view, return to your hotel through the scenic Campsies.

This morning we must bid farewell and begin our journey home with refreshment stops enroute.

Set in a secluded countryside location the hotel dates back to the 14th century and was once owned by the family of Robert the Bruce, the hotel is perfectly complemented by the pretty courtyard building where you will find the Grill Room Restaurant and new Velocity Fitness and leisure club.  Bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and have all the facilities that you would expect of a 4 star hotel.
