Ideally located in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon with river views from our hotel, you spend the weekend exploring this charming medieval market town. We include a river cruise, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s Birthplace, as well as a delightful afternoon tea.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel south to Stratford-upon-Avon.  We head for Anne Hathaways's Cottage, a beautiful 500-year-old cottage where Shakespeare courted his bride-to-be.

We'll make our way to the river to enjoy a relaxing 45-minute river cruise with an engaging guide who will bring Shakespeare’s Stratford to life.

We then make our way to the hotel with time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Stratford-upon-Avon

This morning we enjoy some free time in Stratford-upon-Avon.  You'll have time for an early lunch before we explore Shakespeare’s birthplace and walk in Shakespeare’s footsteps and explore his childhood world. We hear tales of Shakespeare’s family life and discover how the extraordinary William Shakespeare continues to shape our lives today

Later (14:30) we enjoy afternoon tea at The Arden Hotel and then some time to relax from our busy day before dinner at our hotel this evening.

 

DAY THREE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
